Known as the “The Coolest Marathon in Arizona,” The Flagstaff Marathon is a completely off-road course in the Coconino National Forest. At 8,000+ ft. elevation, it is known as one of the most challenging courses in the country, with 1,200 feet of climbing for the half marathon and 2,400 for the full, and composed entirely of single and double track trails.

Participants can register for the full marathon, half marathon, 10K, or Kids Kilo events.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION

Arizona Nordic Village is located 15 miles northwest of Flagstaff, Arizona. From Flagstaff, take Highway 180 and follow signs to the Grand Canyon.

FREE FOOD & DRINK

Each runner will receive a delicious free lunch. We’ll also keep you fueled throughout the day with plenty of snacks, drinks and beer from Historic Brewing.

KID-FRIENDLY KIDS-KILO

Kids can participate in the Kids Kilo for free, sponsored by Richard Sanchez State Farm. The rest of the family can cheer from the sidelines and enjoy food, drinks, and music!

COMPLETELY OFF-ROAD

The Flagstaff Marathon is a completely off-road course in the Coconino National Forest. Expect gorgeous views at 8,650 feet elevation plus 1,862 feet of climbing.

TAKE A RUN-CATION

Take advantage of the cool weather at high altitude and turn your trip into a “runcation”. Find a new local restaurant or brewery and hit up the community farmer’s market.

MEDALS FOR EVERY RACE

Each runner will receive a shiny Flagstaff Marathon finisher medal (and kids, too!) for every race. They’re pretty awesome and we think you’ll want to put it on display.
